Attempted Armed Robbery and Threatening Display of a Firearm










On Friday, November 29th at about 6:41 PM, a white male entered the RSVP store, located at 887 Forest Avenue, with a rifle. The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, medium build, about 40 years old, wearing a grey hoodie, dark pants, hiking-type boots and a filter-type mask over a large portion of his face. The suspect made no demands but stated his weapon was loaded. The suspect fled to the rear of the business and onto the adjacent railroad tracks. A police K9 track was initiated, but no suspect was located.

The police department is requesting that anyone that may have witnessed the incident to contact the police department.
