Brighton Avenue Robbery

At approximately 10:45 today, Portland Police officers responded to 578 Brighton Avenue, Don’s Baseball Card Center, for the report of a robbery. The business owner/victim told officers that the suspect entered the business and threatened him. The victim struggled with the suspect believing he was being robbed. The victim was struck on the head several times by the suspect before the suspect fled without anything. The victim sustained several non-life threatening lacerations to his head.

The suspect was seen fleeing the area in an older model, gray in color, Subaru Legacy station wagon with a roof rack, bearing partial Maine registration 774 Y. The Subaru was being operated by a white female with dirty-blonde hair, tied in a ponytail. The Subaru was last seen traveling inbound on Brighton Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, approximately 5’10” in height, weighing 150 to 180 pounds, with brown hair, wearing a light-colored shirt and jeans.
