Copper Thefts

The Portland Police Department is investigating continuing incidents of copper thefts from Central Maine Power Company. Central Maine Power Company has had in excess of $60,000 dollars worth of copper wire stolen from their facilities in Portland over the past three months.

During the investigation, a number of photo images were captured of suspects in the act of removing copper wire from a Central Maine Power supply yard. Portland Police detectives continue to investigate these thefts and are looking for assistance from the public in identifying the suspects in the photos.
