Announcement of Public Meeting

In November of 2011 the Portland City Council created a Task Force to develop a strategic plan to prevent and end homelessness. This Task Force is comprised of city officials, business leaders, community members, homeless service providers, healthcare leaders, advocates, content experts and representatives from the faith community.



The Task Force invites members of the community to a public meeting and conversation on June 14th, from 6:00pm-8:00pm, at the Portland Public Library’s Rines Auditorium. The purpose of the meeting is to share with the community the framework for the Task Force’s work and to invite input on several key questions related to homelessness in Greater Portland.
