New Portland Police officers graduate and return to Portland  (5/21/2010)
The Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduated the eighteenth Basic Law Enforcement Training Program class of 44 new Maine police officers. Three of these were Portland Police Officers. The department is eager to add these three new law enforcement professionals to the ranks of the department. At the graduation ceremony, Officer Heather Brown was awarded the Randall Parsons Iron Man award, the first woman to receive such accolades. More
